Congratulations to the HUG delivery team at Aran after the release of the latest statistics update for HUG 2.0 by the Department for Energy Security, which shows at the end of January 2024 a total of 730 measures had been installed across 440 households under the scheme nationally.
While the scheme has been challenging it has started to find its feet and delivery levels are now on the increase. Well, done to the Aran team for getting to grips with its challenges so well and playing such an important part in delivering energy efficiency upgrades to so many homes within the scheme.
We are proud of the team at Aran for delivering an increasing volume of works on the scheme and the progress made over the last 5 months. Of the work delivered nationally to date, Aran have completed an impressive 149 measures which is 20.4% of the scheme total to date. In January alone, the team delivered 47 measures, a fantastic 22.4% of all works delivered on the scheme in the month. With February and March seeing the delivery of even more measures, the team are helping more and more households benefit from the scheme.
Also, a huge thank you to our fantastic partners. The level of partnership working between the teams at Aran and the brilliant officers at our partner organisations is a key reason for such success. We look forward to collaborating with you all on year 2 of the programme and helping to continue increasing the numbers of people benefiting from HUG2.0.
